Nox and Zeel arrive at the Emerald Coast Resort hotel, carting the unconscious Echeon with them. Nox had stopped just outside the front doors. He looks like he's hiding. "Ok. I have a bit of a problem... I've lived at this hotel long enough for be acquainted with the hotel staff. But I don't think I want them to recognise me right now, at least not until I've gotten my bearings properly. They allow Gears to be used. Take him inside, and I'll catch up and pay your night. Is that okay?" |

"Ah! Yes, of course!" Zeel hurriedly said, her personality suddenly taking a more excited tone, such as that of a child. "That'll be great! Thank you so much, Mr. Nox." She said before taking Echeon into the Hotel. She had tried the personality change not only in an attempt to make Nox feel less nervous overall, but also in an attempt to hide the one word currently spreading in her mind like a dangerous virus. Suspicious. Nox didn't exactly seem like Mr. Trustworthy to her even at the accident site, but the fact that he had basically just been hiding only made the word grow and become more obvious. She was going to attempt to stick around inside the Hotel for Echeon's sake, but that didn't mean she wasn't skeptical. Edited by Guesty, Nov 14 2009, 10:15 PM.

A green cat pushes the hotel doors apart and walks in. It very vaguely resembles Nox, except she (that's right, this cat is female) is wearing an plain brown blouse and white tights. She has Nox's harness on her back, complete with axe. She also has that familiar nick in her left ear. Her mane dangles down her back, braided into a long ponytail. Her tail, while shaped differently at the end, still had two stiff and unusual crooks in it. It was definitely Nox, but the disguise looked very convincing indeed. "Ta-dah. I explain this, err, disguise later, but you must trust me a little longer and refer to me as 'Olga', dah? Noxedwin is, err, 'hero' around here. Don't want publicity." 'Olga's' accent is a very thick foreign one, and her English seems to be fractured in comparison to Nox's. "Please follow me, we need to check-in." |

"..." "..." "..." "Wh-Wha-" Zeel quickly caught herself in the middle of an exclamation, before catching herself. "Oh, I'm sorry, Olga. I just didn't expect to see you so soon." she quickly said in an attempt to cover her cut off exclamation to any outside ears. "I'm afraid you simply surprised me. Lead the way, please." Zeel was being extremely polite, and was doing her best to make it seem like her and Olga were old friends and not, as the case was, a failed science experiment and a gender confused cat who had just met trying very very hard to not seem strange and suspicious in any way at all. |

"Já. I must tell you what happened since I last saw you. I intend to. Err. One room for night, efendim. For my friend and the spiky one in the floaty wheelbarrow. Room 34, please." Olga reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small handful of Rings. "Thirty Rings. Thank you. You're in Room 34." Olga takes the key and the Extreme Gear. "There is elevator. If you want, there is pram locker over there, for your Scooter Gear." She stops walking, but stumbles slightly as Echeon's Gear drifts into the back of her knee. "Heed me. I apologise for interrupting your day. I...not mean to injure your friend. This my way of repayment. Please forgive." |

"Think nothing of it. After all, it wasn't your fault, right?" Zeel said, still maintaining a cheerfully polite personality. "Why room 34, if I may ask? Is there something special about it? Hold that thought, please. I'll be right back. It wouldn't do for my gear to somehow mess up the floor, I had better go ahead and put it away." She excused herself, going to put her Scooter gear up. Wasn't there something they were supposed to be doing? It must have slipped her mind during the crash and the events afterwards. Something about a Jewel. A Chaos Emerald, right? They were supposed to find one. Zeel found herself wondering if the stone No- er, Olga had in hi- er, her possession during the crash was one of the said jewels of power. It was possible, but the conclusion didn't seem right to Zeel. The Chaos Emeralds were rare, and probably would be treated more care than Olga seemed to intend with her axe. After some difficulty, Zeel managed to get the gear put up as best she could, and returned to where Olga was earlier. Zeel rather hoped that Olga was still there because, honestly, she had no idea how to tell what floor room thirty four was on. Edited by Guesty, Nov 14 2009, 11:17 PM.

Olga was leaning against the door of the elevator, the call button was lit. The door opens, and she leans backwards into it, snatching Zeel's wrist and pulling her in, too, along with Echeon and his Board. She jabs the button for the second floor. "Ah, so many memories. Right, now I will explain. You only deserve to know who I am." Olga's English suddenly becomes whole and repaired, but her bushy Arabian accent is still present. "We have fought more times than I can remember in front of this town, me and my wife. This hotel was partially destroyed at one point by a man named Doctor Eggman, and it was our job to make sure he didn't succeed in his acts of terror. We have fought on the junction outside, to defend the people of the hotel. We defeated a robot at the beach that was responsible for the deaths of four Humans. I prevented an attack downtown that would have electrically made everyone in the city braindead. Such acts were enough to grant me a celebrity status,...and I don't want that. I don't know your friend Echeon directly, but my wife would always talk about him. They were very close friends, and they haven't seen each other in five years." *ding* The elevator doors open. Olga blinks, carrying back her fractured grasp on English. "Room 34 was room Noxedwin used while living here, dah? I know how good room is. It served him very well. ...or was it Room 36? Meh, they all good. We proceed, I expect you are tired. I am tired, but I need only use phone." She walks out, pushing the Gear along like it were a shopping cart. This old hall... Olga never thought that she'd be walking it again. Those two doors still had the iffy labels on them. The first time Nox came here, someone switched them around, creating a bit of embarrassment and confusion for him. The key turned easily, just like it always did. "Ugh. I concern myself too much. Here is 34. Your room." |

Huh. Imagine that. A hero. At least he, or she, as the case was at present seemed decent enough to not let all the fame go to her head. Zeel nodded quietly as the elevator door opened in order to tell Olga that she had been listening and understood. "I see. Please, you first." Zeel said pleasantly as she grabbed the door and politely motioned for Olga to go in first. The motion was, in part, playing along with the polite attitude, but it was also in order to make sure there weren't any traps that might spring simply upon entering the room. Zeel hardly ever truly trusted people, and despite the generosity this was not an exception. "There should be a phone in here, right? Don't worry. I won't eavesdrop or anything." Zeel said cheerfully |

"Very well." Olga opens the door and enters, pulling Echeon with her and letting the door swing wide. "Huh. There was green couch first time I entered here. ...it all looks the same... Hard to think this was my home for three years..." She walks to the phone on the bedside cabinet and picks it up, sitting down. "Please enter. My call is not secret. But I am supposed to use private untappable line." Regardless of that security concern, she starts keying in some phone number, watching Zeel out of the corner of her eye. |

Zeel... kinda just stood around. She did look around and examine the room carefully, but most of her time was spent on watching Olga out of the corner of her eye. Zeel made as little noise as possible, and was actually slightly comforted by the fact that most of the room seemed moderately flammable. And then there was Echeon. The board couldn't possibly be comfortable though in his current state the hedgehog probably didn't care. Still, laying sprawled on the board with his eyes like that, he looked suspiciously... dead. Zeel carefully went about moving the hedgehog from the board onto the bed. If nothing else it passed the time. |
