Although in the end it will be my decision, I'd like your opinions. I'm considering buying the domain name earlier than I had originally said--on the 10th, next week, as opposed to Christmas. The 10th is a special day. On November 10th we moved from Storm (then the hellhole that was Tempest, Starsword be damned) to Cyclone. The specifics are a bit hazy, so I'll assume that Nox joined us either on Tempest or on the day Cyclone was registered just by chance. Anyway, these are three possible options; of course, any suggestions given will be taken into consideration. I'm leaning toward sonic-cyclone.net, myself. Edited by Fission, Nov 8 2009, 06:41 AM.

You look like some guy I used to know... *I remember perfectly how I started, at least. Started in Mystic Ruin's Jungle, Enter Tiny after a week of waiting, boss fight with Kaiser Kiki, Death Egg falls, go to Cybera, Fight against Mecha Overlord (I had to leave on holiday in that time, when I came back,) battle ends, go to Station Square, wandered through streets. I feel like trying to get as far away from a URL that can get us sued as possible, so I'm thinking "soniclone.net", but otherwise I'd go with sonic-cyclone.net. Also, for some reason "Sonic Cyclone" suddenly reminds me of "DBZ Vortex." I don't believe I've ever been there, but the spam they sent me back in the day suggests they're a pedophilia site. |

I voted for Sonic-Cyclone.net, simply because I like it better than dot com. It also reminds me of Horundul, where I first met Fission. I dunno really. But I chose to wait for Christmas. As well as the site has been doing, Horundul has proven to me that things can quickly change from amazing to bad. I don't think that will be an issue, but we should give ourselves that extra two months for evaluation. |

I suppose that's not terribly surprising. That e-mail was over ten years ago, so I'm either misremembering or they lost the URL. Could've just been slander, too. Not that I recall the exact URL, though I always thought it was weird that a child porn site would use that name. |
