Two were empty. The last contained Tails Doll, the unfortunate 'little brother' of the team. But that didn't matter. "Upload memories following last upload. Specification: if full AI routines were not active, do not upload. Download, full projected force of Metal Sonic Mk VII. Download, Chaos Shard analysis. Download, Metal Sonic system specifications, projected." After a moment's pause, Metal Knuckles nodded. "Additional Command. Repair. Reactivation, 6 hours." Nux said as he laid himself into the pod and it sealed. The Scrapyard's systems would see to it that he was repaired. A full scan of all systems and then repairs over any damaged systems over the course of the remaining time. In the mean time the knowledge he desired would be transfered from him to the computer and vice versa.

He waited the few second for the pod to open, pushing himself out of the robotic cradle that was the only concession the doctor had made for Team Metal. "Computer, list incomplete repairs." Nux said as he went to stand before Tails Doll's stasis pod. He was running his own systems check simultaniously. "Chaos Energy detectors offline. Removed due to sub-optimal functionality. Repainting is incomplete due to lack of resources." there was a brief pause, and then the computer continued. "New objective added. Confirm?" ".. Hunt Master Emerald shards." Nux stated as his processors ran through a dozen problems. But Metal Knuckles was willing to take a couple of chances. It was all for the doctor. "Computer, prepare Metal Knuckles flier for departure." Nux would head for the GUN base on Prison Island. If he didn't have Robotnik's scanner, he'd steal one from GUN. But he didn't want stealth to get there. He would need speed. For that, a two way deployment system. It was actually a prototype insertion system intended to deploy the Doctor's Metal Shadow units... And Metal Knuckles had commandeered the project following the demise of most of them. This would be interesting.
