Each article of art has rules attached to it. Generic Rules Any request in this thread is fulfillable by anyone who wishes to contribute, though you may ask for a specific person to attempt it. If that fails, the requestee will forward the request to one he/she deems capable. For archival purposes (unless requested), the request product shall remain posted in this here post. Do NOT ask for any explicit or obscene material (even swearing), implied or otherwise, to be embedded into the work. Asking such a request will result in a hefty warning. (The word "Damn" does not fulfill this criterion, is the only word that does not.) Work is not usually signatoried by the requestee (it does not have their name on it), but credit would be nice. The work shall remain in this topic (the requester will be summoned via PM when it is ready). No deconstructive criticism, please. If you want the work in a particular style (Black&White, Sepia tone, Lucid, sketchy, 'Disney-simple', (quasi)-cel-shaded, etc.), it would be helpful to state that at the beginning. In the interest that we all have lives, your work will be done when it gets done. Good things come to those who ~~bug me for it~~ wait. This is not the place to ask for sprite art. Please ask in the appropriate forum. If you do not approve of the work, you have every right to ask that it be modified to further specifications. You also have the right to decline it outright. We do not ask for payment. A simple "Thank You, You Rock" will suffice. We reserve the right to decline any request, without any reason or forewarning. This is a rare case Avatars Avatars MUST be 100x100 pixels (or less). The only exception is if the avatar is not used here (where avatars may have different limitations. An avatar may include your character if you wish. However, it may not include other characters (unless the other owner gives consent, in the case of Player Characters). Signature Banner The bare max allowed size is 600x250. On a standard 1280x1024 monitor, the banner must not stretch the posting column or distend it beyond the title banner at the top. (However, it MAY do so on the "View Profile" screen, just not on the forum screen.) A banner may have any number of words/numbers in it (so long as they comply with the no-obscenity rule, in any font style/size of your choice (state it). In the event that the font is unique to your computer, it will be downloaded and used. In the event that this isn't possible, a suitable font substitute shall be chosen. Character Art The max allowed size is 400x400. The style used is simplistic and flat by default. The background is transparent by default. Concept material is required. This complies to a verbose description or (preferably) a beta sketch. The default pose will be a generic standing pose. Request if you want your character to be performing a certain action (attacking, running, thumbs-up, etc). Any equipment you want your character to be holding at the time (armament, dress, artifact, etc.) must be stated explicitly. These items must be described in the same manner. Certain plot-critical items that your character does not possess (Chaos Emeralds, and the like) are permitted, though such depiction does not justify your ownership of them.

Advertisment Critic Bitch Posts: 83 Group: Member Member #243 Joined: December 30, 2009	Ok, so I'll make the first request and it's gonna be quite a long winded one with a lot of concept shots here.... First and foremost, what I'd like. I'd like to see Hanah in her WING mode with arms outstretched, holding her beam saber in her right arm (the ZERO Glove) and a Chaos Emerald/Shard in her left. Legs together with feet pointing down to indicate she's in midair. I don't mind how dramatic you make it with the shading but I would like to see a pencil sketch with some smudge shading if you're feeling up to it. Ok, now I need to actually explain how Hanah looks... And I've got plenty of concept pics for that... First off is the girl herself: Image 1: Image 2: Image 3: Image 4: From these, you can get her general appearence and clothing and the Berserker Crown that she's wearing in all these pics. But ignore basically the clothing on her right arm, as that is taken up by something different, the ZERO Glove. Image 1: Now yes, the picture is only a glove for the hand but if you can, extend it all the up to her shoulder with the same average proportion shown in the picture. Colouring is different for the glove too, it actually takes a mostly metalic black and grey motif, however where the jewel is concerned, if you wish to get props for detail, make this jewel more circular and larger and then add the orange orbital rings around it. (these do pass through her hand whenever active so it wont be odd to have the "orbit" going through her hand) Finally, WING Mode gives Hanah a pair of angelic looking wings but these also take on a more metalic sheen to them rather than organic angel wings. Image 1: Not looking for the super detail in this picture here but if you can make it so the wings look metalic rather than organic, that'll be great thanks. For her emotion, well a serious look would suit fine but done make it an agitated look of serious. More a serious concern. Beam saber is the usual pink, look towards any Gundam show to see how the beam sabers look however her saber is a beam only so it will extend beyond the bottom of her hand too. No hilt or pommel. Have her holding towards the viewer (arm outstretched still though) but at a slight dipped angle so it resembles a saber rather than just a little burst of light. I made a crappy little idea of the angle in MSPaint... Image 1: So that's the general gist of what I'd like. I don't want someone to come and rush on it though, take all the time you need to do it but please let me know how you get on with it, just so I know you haven't gone and promised me an epic pic in the next year or so, only to leave me standing for a decade.

Group shots count as a single image. If it's awesome enough, I may give you a tip. If you just crop and/or resize an existing image, it'll get you nothing, but if its significantly edited enough you might get something. As I literally have more credits than I know what to do with, I'll pretty accept any image in any medium, as long as its work-safe (I feel like I'm tempting fate with that, but I'm pretty sure its against the ToS). Portraits, avatars, banners, sprites, figurines, Lego structures... It's all good. This commission will remain open for as long as I have the money to give away, so feel free to submit works based on characters that have already been drawn for me.
