I've created a topic, but nobody's joining it! I'm bored! Ok, relax for a second. We're not the most active place on the internet, so it may take a while for someone to join you. If you're really that impatient, or it's been longer than common sense dictates, you can request roleplay. Go to our Suggestion/Complaints department, ask for something to happen (state where), and anyone with free time will come and make things happen. You can also invite someone to this forum, and roleplay with them. Wait, that guy's controlling two characters?! How come?! As decreed by Tiefy, our resident non sequitur, you are allowed to control two characters. You must gain at least 50 posts to do this, however, you can make another application and have it unlock when you hit said count. How long will my application stay before it's accepted? Will it ever 'expire' or be deleted if it's not completed in time? No. We don't delete applications unless it's owner requests it. Ever. Even if you leave this board, your character will remain, as will their inventory. Cryogenic application hiatus. As for incomplete apps? They're never deleted. They either stay until the submitter asks us to delete it, or they're completed. My application's been sitting for ages now, come and review it! If, for some obscure reason, staff isn't coming to your application to review it, it's because we have important issues to attend to. I, on the other hand, am always here, and my schedule is empty, except for the 6.5 hours of school. I'm the Head of Application Approvals, so it's kinda my priority to consider these things. Send me an Personal Message and I'll come and review it. It may be hours later that day, or it could be in four seconds flat. How'd HE get so many rings? Every monday, every user gets an additional 30 rings. You must be active for some of that week in order to get this allowance. Rings are also dropped in boss fights, they can be traded and frittered away, and villainous characters can steal and mug people for rings. Why are there people in the member list with gibberish names? Probably an obscure question, but a valid one. And I've wondered it too. Simply: the less said about that, the better. Let's just say that we get some real tools here. What the hell is the Fourth Wall and why does it keep breaking/popping/disintergrating/vanishing/exploding loudly/falling from the sky in huge chunks? Ah, the Fourth Wall, so mercilessly tormented, continually broken and somehow repaired automatically, only to be smashed again. The Fourth Wall isn't a physical wall (at least not in reality, ironically), but rather a semi-invisible boundary that seperates our world from the literal world. It is also seen in pantomimes, VERY frequently broken there ("He's right behind you!" "Oh, no, he isn't!", etc.). Consider it the equivalent of the glass over your TV screen. Breaking it is harmless, simple; and when done right, can be funny. The world around us, and the world around our characters is seperated by a simple and extremely weak wall composed mostly of brick, dry wall, concrete, and Gummi (the rest is pure explodium). When a character mentions or utters something of realworldly (or metaworldly) relevance, it is always accompanied by a breaking of the Wall. For example, when a character mentions how corny or predictable or narmy the plot is, the Wall breaks accordingly. If the Wall is badly damaged enough, light is able to pass from our world to theirs. Trust me, when a character sees you, it's time to leave the Wall well alone. You can reply to this topic, and any questions will be added to the above list. Edited by Tiefy, Sep 9 2009, 05:59 PM.

Actually, I refer to the comedic form, not the logical fallacy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non_sequitur_%28humor%29 |

Literally, this term means "it doesn't follow". The word itself means illogic. |
