I have decided to modify my theme song and bump this topic in doing so in the hopes that previous subscribers to this topic (if any) will recieve a ping email and respond/return accordingly. Rise Against - 'Prayer of the Refugee' Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOtNqDyyX2c Dailymotion - http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x20ofe_ri...e-refugee_music This is the most fitting song I've found for Nox thus far, and likely ever will. He is nomadic and misses his origins. ("I'll tell you stories of a better time in a place that we once knew... Before we packed our bags and left all this behind us in the dust, we had a place that we could call 'home' in a life no one could touch."). It has a generally calm beginning, and repeatedly breaks out into furious choruses before ending angrily. "Don't hold me up now. I can stand my own ground. I don't need your help now. You won't let me down-down-down." is pretty much my cat's help-unwanting sentiment through and through, as is it is the chorus. Hell, he might as well have sung this song. Regardless of fit, my acknowledgement of this song was not before the conception of the biography. Oh, yeah, the video doesn't fit, but it's the song, right? |

Echeon The World Forgotten, The Words Forbidden By Sonata Arctica Lyrics This is a bit of a nod to Echeon's adoption, unable to remember his birth parents or his birthplace. It also hints a bit at things to come. Truffles Amola Soul of a Vagabond By Stratovarius Lyrics This represents Truff's home on the road after leaving his family (and later, friends) behind to travel the world. He knows his family won't accept him; he thinks his friends won't, either. He travels onward, through the hardships and loneliness of the open road, contemplating life and death and existence. Ayreon Liquid Eternity By Ayreon (which I named him after) Lyrics This sound really connects with Ayreon (and not just because of the band name, either). The first verse talks about a world that was once free and now collapsed, much like Ayreon's beginnings. He though he does not contemplate the repercussions of his revenge, the people of the song do. Might as well hop on board. Stock I personally thought that Checker Knights fit him and his crazy antics. It is a fun song for a fun guy. Rey He may not be accepted yet, but I figured I might as well toss this on there too. Taken straight from another pimping character, I feel it suits him well. |

Emerl Hazardous Highway By Yoko Shimomura Why this, when supposedly Sonic Battle's theme would do just as well? For one, it has a distinctly 'sonic the hedgehog' feel and at the same time is almost completely different from everything else. It just... 'feels' right. Yes its Kingdom Hearts music, and I have no idea where it plays in said game, but... it feels right. |

Hazardous Highway is one of the Gummi themes. It's between Hollow Bastion and Port Royal (or PR and one of the neighbouring worlds), if memory serves. It's the route marked 'Broken Highway'. ...It's also one of my favourite themes from the game, if not for the fact that the route in question is insanely fast. |

Some NPC goodness! Lucidi Malic The Serpentine Offering By Dimmu Borgir (Note: The music video is cut a bit roughly at one point, leaving out an entire bridge. The actual song is actually 5:09.) Lyrics This song contains many of the Antichrist overtones that Malic represents. He rose promising change and prosperity for the ne'er-do-wells and the poor, who helped him rise up only to become a force that would wipe the Cyber race and itself, destroying their beautiful homeland. He is the coming of a prophecy told generations hence, as old as Cybera itself. |

lyrics I chose this one for Maldrid because he is learning about cultures and events that happened quite some time before current events. It sounds like it's talking about the struggles that happened in the past. Even though the lyrics don't relate to the character the sound in my opinion does. =) |
