This board has hit the grand 15,000 post mark! While Nox and Tiefy both still have over a third of the posts apiece, let's look at some fun facts:

- Since our reopening, we have made over 2900 posts, averaging 39 posts per day overall.
- Our post per day peaked on the 15th of November with a staggering of 90 posts
- Overall, this board has an average of 22 posts per day since the beginning, which is a lot in its own right
- The greatest number of posts in a day were on November 14th of 2007, when all of the rules and threads from Tempest were being reposted. The posts that day numbered 144!

Hey guys! Fission here, with some news on exciting updates. In case you haven't already noticed, Sonic Cyclone is now under it's very own domain name: sonic-cyclone.net! We hope to make this as a more memorable URL for new and old users alike. It also makes us look a little more professional, though we're still in desperate need for a better skin.

More updates! We're going CBox premium soon, most likely two days after our ZB Premium expires (so this upcoming Thursday) thanks to my generous partner-in-crime, Nox. Also, on a more somber note, Tiefy has given up his title of admin to focus more on character development; I wouldn't blame him, I can imagine that RPing with the same guy for two years would get a bit boring! He still will help out with the staff, of course, so please show respect.

On an IC note, the Metal Sonic Mk VII plot is going strong, as well as the upcoming Cybera plot. While yes, I do admit that most--all--of the Cybera plot will be derived from Echeon's history, the idea of Cybers have been such a long standing icon--though mostly ignored--for Cyclone, tracing back to my original character on our predecessor board, Sonic Storm. I digress.

New forum areas and reorganization! Hran, Cybera, Chun-nan, Adabat, Mazuri, Holoska, and Shamari have all been added in some form or another, taking from both character histories and with a tiny bit--about seventeen tons--of editing to fit all the bits together. Everything fits together quite nicely.

Rule changes and updates! We've updated the rules several times, and the first IC store has been added in Station Square. We'll be adding more once we get the item list fully fleshed out, but for now those who chose to go to the city can enjoy this fine slice of ring-consuming goodies. If you have any questions, just check out the rules or drop us a question in the CBox. We've also added NPC slots! Each person starts with one NPC slot but is allowed to purchase more via the AIO shop for 100 credits. NPCs are stored in an archive just like the character applications; read the revised rules for more information.

Although in the end it will be my decision, I'd like your opinions. I'm considering buying the domain name earlier than I had originally said--on the 10th, next week, as opposed to Christmas. The 10th is a special day. On November 10th we moved from Storm (then the hellhole that was Tempest, Starsword be damned) to Cyclone. The specifics are a bit hazy, so I'll assume that Nox joined us either on Tempest or on the day Cyclone was registered just by chance.

Anyway, these are three possible options; of course, any suggestions given will be taken into consideration. I'm leaning toward sonic-cyclone.net, myself.
