Hang Castle/Haunted Mansion
Somewhere around the geometrically-defined arse-end of nowhere--deep in the Pumpkin Mountains, as it were--this towering domicile looms over an endless abyss. The outer castle walls are subject to bizzare gravity fluctuations, and the mansion seems to be caught in a dimensional flux. Both of these phenomena can be blamed on the local "ghosts", though only Egg Pawns have ever been seen here. This base was completely abandoned after the Metal Sonic Mk VII incident.
