The Egg Base
What does it look like?
The Egg Base is divided into four parts - the top area, which includes the main entrance and some acceptable shelter, including an automated kitchen, beds, and hospital wing. Below that is Robotnik's workshop, abandoned, which includes several failed half-experiments. Below that, the massive hanger that once held one of the Egg Carriers sits, empty. The innermost part of the base, which goes deep into ground beneath Big Forest, is inaccessible to Dilla, the base's resident AI.
How did it come to be?
The Egg Base was originally crafted as the home base for Robotnik's Egg Carriers, his massive, flying battleships that were to use Chaos's power to attack Westopolis. However, after his plans failed, this base was abandoned along with all the technology in it. Most notably, Dilla, the AI that runs the base, has gone rogue, choosing to help those against Robotnik.
